The story behind West Wittering
The 100 second exposure makes this shot look serene but this was a horrendous day, with a strong wind whipping straight off the sea and creating real problems with salt and spray on the lens. This beach is a good location for this sort of composition or for the classic long exposure along a groyne. I need to have a proper explore of the area sometime.
