Staircase, Tate Modern

Location: Blavatnik Building, Tate Modern, London

This is probably one of the three most-photographed staircases in London, along with the Tulips Stairs in the Queen's House, Greenwich, and the Cecil Brewer staircase in Heal's on the Tottenham Court Road.

This one is on the ground floor of the Blavatnik Building at Tate Modern (see here for my shot from the viewing terrace). It's a beautiful piece of curving concrete, with several good angles for photographs. Be prepared to wait a few minutes if you want a shot with no one in it.

Gear: Nikon D810 and Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8
