Location: the Queen's House, Greenwich

If you like symmetry and repeating shapes then the Queen's House in Greenwich is well worth checking out. In addition to this courtyard area, there are collonades extending either side of the building and a lovely symmetrical view to the front. And, of course, there are the fabulous Tulip Stairs inside.

I wasn't sure how I was going to process this one when I took it but it quickly became clear that this high-key treatment was the way to go.

If you're going to Greenwich, you should also check out the Old Royal Naval College and the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.
